Machine Operator in Chesterfield, Michigan at Big 3 Precision Products Inc

Position Overview: Operate manufacturing machines or complete any production process in an efficient manner producing quality product according to verbal or written instructions. Accurately complete all required paperwork and turn in as completed.

Job Responsibilities:

• 1st Shift - 6:00AM to 4:30PM
• Review all job information, work instructions, and understand job requirements before running production.
• Complete the Production Report, as required throughout the shift.
• Load/Unload Machine.
• Route, drill, deburr, scrape, flame and assemble products as required.
• Pack/stack product according to job Information Sheet.
• Complete visual inspections on product you’re producing. Notify supervisor immediately when more than 1 part is nonconforming.
• Cut scrap into manageable pieces.
• Complete or assist in the teardown or job set-up of production machine.

Skills:

• Good attendance and follow instructions.
• Understanding of tools required to produce product.
• Work independently or within a team.
• Work accurately, with attention to detail, and be able to detect defects.
• Operate machines and hand tools.

Abilities:

• Speak, read, and write in the English language.
• Stand, Walk, and reach with arms, hands, and fingers.
• Lift, carry, push, pull items up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.
• Basic Math; count, add, and subtract.
