About This Position

Oasis Treatment is an integrated behavioral health organization providing trauma-informed care to individuals experiencing substance use disorder, mental health challenges, and co-occurring needs. With multiple locations across Oregon, we deliver accessible, culturally responsive services including high-intensity outpatient (HIOP), intensive outpatient (IOP), general outpatient, psychiatric care, peer mentoring, and recovery housing access. We prioritize personalized treatment, measurable outcomes, and compassionate support for every person we serve.


About the role

As a Peer Mentor at Oasis Treatment, you’ll use your lived experience to provide direct support, mentorship, and advocacy. This role blends recovery-based relationship-building with life skills coaching, care coordination, and hands-on support across housing, treatment, and community engagement.

What you’ll do
  • Maintain a regular caseload of clients and provide one-on-one peer mentorship
  • Lead or co-facilitate recovery-focused groups, life skills sessions, and educational programming
  • Support clients in navigating housing, employment, 12-step and alternative peer supports, and essential services
  • Provide transportation as needed to promote engagement and remove access barriers
  • Communicate regularly with case managers, therapists, and other stakeholders to ensure continuity of care
  • Conduct drug screens in a trauma-informed, respectful manner
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the EHR, in compliance with HIPAA, OARs, and agency standards
Qualifications
  • Certified Recovery Mentor (CRM) or Peer Support Specialist (PSS) in Oregon
  • Minimum of 2 years in recovery with active involvement in a recovery program
  • Self-identify as someone with lived experience of substance use or co-occurring challenges
  • Valid Oregon driver’s license, insured vehicle, and clean driving record
  • Strong communication, boundary-setting, and team collaboration skills
  • Preferred: Experience in behavioral health or recovery housing; bilingual (English/Spanish); familiarity with harm reduction or trauma-informed approaches

The pay range for this role is:
50,000 - 56,160 USD per year(US)
