The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for supporting day-to-day supply chain functions including production planning, inventory control, and logistics coordination. This role ensures alignment between internal teams and external partners to support seamless product flow and inventory optimization. A critical aspect of the role involves direct communication and coordination with co-manufacturers (co-mans) to ensure production timelines, material availability, and quality standards are consistently met. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Functions Include:
- Create and coordinate purchase orders /transfer orders to our co-man network for processed materials (WIP and FG) based on demand forecasts and production schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies to ensure accuracy across warehouses, co-mans, and production systems.
- Collaborate closely with co-manufacturers (co-mans) to align on production schedules, monitor performance, resolve supply issues, and ensure timely delivery of finished goods.
- Support production planning activities by aligning material availability with manufacturing schedules.
- Collaborate with logistics providers to schedule inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring on-time delivery.
- Track supplier performance and resolve issues related to lead times, shortages, or quality concerns.
- Assist in maintaining accurate supply chain data in ERP and inventory management systems.
- Generate regular reports on inventory status, material usage, and supplier performance metrics.
- Communicate cross-functionally with procurement, operations, quality, and warehouse teams to ensure alignment.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and support sustainability goals.

Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or related technical field of study preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or production planning.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Understanding of inventory control methods, procurement processes, and logistics best practices.
Desired Skills
- Experience with demand planning and forecasting tools.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting (e.g., Excel, Power BI, or similar tools).
- Ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and co-manufacturers to improve collaboration and service levels.
- Skilled in identifying supply chain issues, analyzing root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
- Proven ability to work effectively with teams across procurement, operations, quality, and finance.
