Position Overview
The Clinical Manager position is responsible for overseeing social services clinical staff and their direct services to clients, within the Hospital setting including, but not limited to, service delivery, supervision, administration and staff development as directed by the Director of Social Services and Assistant Director of Social Services. In some cases, this position will provide counseling services to clients directly through individual, family, and/or group counseling sessions.

Key Responsibilities
- Within the assigned modules/units, provide oversight, supervision, and when necessary direct involvement with both internal and external customers, maintaining positive customer relationships and facilitating open lines of communication to best address the needs of the children in our care
- Attend daily management and treatment team meetings to identify complex cases and provide support. Collaborate with the Director and Assistant Director of Social Services on the delivery of all clinical services to the assigned modules/units.
- Within the assigned modules/units, ensure that all standards of ethical behavior, professional conduct, and mental health requirements are followed. Ensure that all standards of documentation are upheld based on policies and regulation.
- Ensure continued risk assessment and risk management related to each individual child and to the overall assigned units/modules.
- Coordinate meetings (CASSP, IAs, Red Flags, and Discharge), assessments, and admissions with all modules to support/address clinician vacancies/absences/client needs.
- Participate in hiring process by conducting interviews for Case Manager, Intern, and Clinician positions.
- Assign shadowing schedule for new clinicians and track completion of Orientation Checklist. Ensure assigned clinicians are provided individual & group supervision hours toward licensure and track this progression through the Clinical pathway.
- Active member of the Program Integrity Committee – regularly providing ideas and feedback to ensure programs are run safely, efficiently, and clinically focused.
- Design, implement, and monitor new and innovate approaches in the delivery of clinical services to a specified population.
- Complete audits (Clinical, PERC, etc.) as assigned by Director of Social Services.
- All other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in a related clinical discipline and appropriate licensure required.
- Minimum of 1 year of direct supervision in a clinical setting required. 3.
- Minimum of 2 years of direct treatment experience with children / adolescents required.
- Must possess basic personal computer knowledge and skills. 5.
- Must be at least 21 years of age. 6.
- Valid driver’s license, SCM certification, CPR/First Aid certification required
