Radiology Technologist - $5000 Sign-On Bonus Available! at Citizens Memorial – Bolivar, Missouri

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting a Radiology Technologist to work at our main hospital in Bolivar, MO. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 long-term care facilities, and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, rehab therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the department: Utilizing the newest state-of-the-art equipment and technologies, the Radiology Department provides 24/7 diagnostic imaging services to meet the needs of a wide variety of patients at both the hospital and Outpatient Imaging Center. Examinations are performed on both a scheduled and emergent basis and may include diagnostic radiology, mammography, vascular and echo-cardiography ultrasound, PET and CT, and MRI.

A typical day will include: Performing routine and specialized x-ray examinations in both the hospital and Outpatient Imaging Center.

• Prepares patients for examinations, positioning and / or immobilizing the patient in accordance with the type of procedure to be administered, and while considering the safety, physical, and psychological needs of the patient
• Performs examination, adjusts control panel settings, such as voltage, amperage, and time of exposure, as necessary
• Processes data assuring optimal imaging has been achieved prior to discharge of the patient, re-imaging as necessary
• Prepares solutions using sterile techniques and administers barium and IV contrast solutions

This position is: Full-time, 3pm-11pm.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Completion of a Radiology Technologist program with an Associate Degree from an accredited institution
• Experience: Prior experience performing CT is preferred, but training can be provided
• Skills: Verbal and non-verbal communication, examination skills, patient safety
• Licensure/Certification: Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
