The Bakery Lead is responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the Bakery Department. This role includes crafting and
preparing high-quality baked goods, maintaining inventory records, and training and supervising Bakery Team Members to meet
Marlenes / Lassens Natural Foods standards. The Bakery Lead will ensure that all bakery products consistently meet quality expectations and
provide exceptional customer service while creating an inviting, well-stocked bakery environment. This position requires a strong
understanding of general baking principles and adherence to safety and health regulations. The Bakery Lead must also foster a positive
work environment that promotes teamwork, respect, and high morale. A Bakery Lead may be expected to obtain extensive knowledge
of Natural Foods and some basic knowledge of Nutritional Supplements including vitamins, herbs, amino acids, sports nutrition, food
supplements, and health and beauty aids.
