Job Title: Surgical Technician

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and surgical teams by preparing and maintaining sterile fields in the operating room.
• Handle and organize surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment before, during, and after procedures.
• Process, sterilize, and maintain surgical instruments and equipment according to industry standards.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations.
• Work collaboratively with the surgical team to support efficient operating room workflows.
• Monitor and restock OR and sterile processing department supplies as needed.
• Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Surgical Technician (CST) and/or Sterile Processing Technician (CRCST) preferred.
• Previous experience in an operating room and/or sterile processing department required.
• Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation and sterilization techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
