Pkvw Nurs Clin Instructor-MSN at Parkview Health – Fort Wayne, Indiana

This position will support Huntington University.

Specific Role Requirements: Medical Surgical Nursing experience required, OB experience preferred but not mandatory.

Summary

Provides quality and effective clinical instruction within specific academic program guidelines; promotes student success through professional guidance, mentoring, and coaching while promoting clinical excellence. Provides timely and meaningful feedback to students regarding the mastery of clinical and program learning outcomes; provides institutional support and community service; participates meaningfully in student retention and completion initiatives; supports Parkview Health and partner university/college's missions and strategic plan initiatives; conforms to campus expectations of faculty performance and engagement.

Education

Must have an MSN from accredited program. Acceptable accrediting agencies are Commission on Collegiate Education in Nursing (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA).

Licensure/Certification

Must have an unencumbered Indiana RN license.

Experience

Must have 3 years’ experience as an RN.
