Reporting to Regional Manager, the Seasonal Route Sales Representative VR is responsible for serving all grocery customers on variable routes by delivering fresh coffee daily. Additionally, the RSR will build and maintain relationships with store management to increase Peet’s visibility within accounts. Previous DSD Experience is required.


This position will provide vacation relief for the Cheyanne, WY area,

This is a seasonal position that may last up to 90 days. Hourly rate is $25/hr.

Job Duties

  • Forecasting and ordering a weekly order
  • Merchandising store displays to ensure proper inventory, pricing, and date code rotation
  • Complying with customers’ scheduled receiving hours and policies
  • Building in-store displays
  • Managing Point-of-Sale inventory
  • Solicitation of new accounts fitting approved Peet’s profile
  • Selling special programs to store owners and managers
  • Keeping all company-supplied equipment clean and serviced, including Peet’s van, warehouse, and POS
  • Completing all required reports and paperwork
  • Ability to travel when needed

Requirements

  • Prior DSD/ truck to store sales experience
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Clean DMV record and insurability
  • Ability to work independently in various settings
  • Ability to work flexible work hours depending on business needs

Seasonal employees are those who are hired to work for a designated “peak” period of time, lasting no more than three months. At the end of the determined seasonal period, seasonal employees are terminated from their temporary employment with Peet’s. If regular positions are available at the conclusion of the seasonal period, seasonal employees may be eligible to apply and will be selected based on their performance during their temporary employment. Seasonal employees who are hired as a regular full- or part-time employee in the future will have their time worked as a seasonal count towards their benefits and performance review eligibility. Seasonal employees are not eligible for company benefits, other than Peet’s employee discount program and benefits they are entitled to receive under federal, state, or local law.
