Patient Access Associate in Bolivar, Missouri at Citizens Memorial

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Patient Access PBX Representative to join our Patient Access Department in Bolivar, Missouri — someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.

Position Details

• Status: Full Time

• Work Shift: Days

• Hours: 6:45a.m- 5:00p.m (Four 10-hour shifts/Week)

What Your Day Looks Like: We work to make the patients' initial contact with Citizens Memorial Hospital a pleasant, stress-free experience and to gather the appropriate patient information to maintain an accurate medical record.

As a Patient Access Associate, you will be:

• Answering and routing all incoming calls

• Assisting with patient information requests

• Serving as the first point of contact for patients, visitors, physicians, staff by providing exceptional customer service while operating the hospital’s phone system.

• Ensuring all calls are handled promptly and professionally

• Responding to emergency communication procedures

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: Customer service experience- minimum of 1 year

Skills: Preferred knowledge of medical terminology

Licensure/Certification: N/A

Physical Requirements: Ability to work at a computer 90% of the day and stand for the remaining 10%
