Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in Sisseton, South Dakota at HUCKEYE HEALTH SERVICES LLC

Pay: $90 per hour
Position Type: Contract
Contract Duration: 6 months, with the possibility of a 6-month extension

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide high-quality primary and urgent care services at Woodrow Wilson Keeble Memorial Health Care Center in Sisseton, South Dakota.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of recent Family or General Medicine experience, strong clinical assessment skills, and experience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.

This is a 6-month contract opportunity with the possibility of extension.

Monday–Friday. Candidates may work one of the following schedules:

• Option 1: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

• Option 2: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM (10-hour shifts, 4–5 days per week)

• Option 3: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (12-hour shifts, 4–5 days per week)

• Provide primary and urgent care services to patients of all ages..

• Conduct patient examinations, diagnose medical conditions, and develop treatment plans.

• Prescribe medications and provide appropriate treatment.

• Document patient encounters, orders, and referrals accurately in the EHR system.

• Participate in the Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) model.

• Provide patient education and promote disease prevention.

• Active, unrestricted NP or PA license in at least one U.S. state or territory.

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Family/General Medicine experience within the last 36 months.

• Experience using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.

• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.

• Board certification or eligibility, or partial residency completion.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Letter of Commitment.

• Copy of DEA certification.

• Documentation of all applicable diplomas and professional certifications.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), if applicable.
