Join Trinity Boston Connects (TBC)

Trinity Boston Connects (TBC) is a social justice nonprofit focused on healing the impact of systemic racism on youth of color and creating a more equitable Boston for youth to thrive. TBC integrates Trauma-Informed Care, Restorative Justice, and Racial Equity across three programs: Sole Train (after school), Trinity Education for Excellence Program (TEEP) (out of school), and Circle Keepers (during school). We are looking for someone who is service-oriented, has a growth mindset, and can default to gratitude.

About the Role

You will support all Youth Development & Leadership (YDL) program operations, often with a focus on Sole Train, TBC's non-competitive running program focused on resiliency and community building. You will support school-based Sole Train sites, which includes traveling to sites, running, modeling and supporting practices, and key deliverables such as follow-ups, recruitment, and surveys. The role includes weekly learning and development meetings plus in-person all-staff meetings.

This role is ideal for someone who is energetic, organized, self-sufficient, and enjoys working with youth. You do not need to be an expert on youth, running, or restorative justice, but you must have a learner mindset, be comfortable with feedback, and believe that relationships are levers for this work.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the coordination and execution of day-to-day program logistics
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for program participants, families, and partners
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure program fidelity, evaluation, and more
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of program participants and staff
  • Help organize events, workshops, and activities for the programs
  • Maintain accurate records of participant data and program outcomes
  • Ensure communication flows between staff, participants, and external partners
  • Coordinate volunteer recruitment and management for events and activities
  • Support program evaluation through data collection and analysis
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in youth programming or coordination
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to build relationships with youth and diverse partners
  • Experience with event planning, logistics, and volunteer coordination
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and database management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

TBC is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a culturally diverse team, and we strongly encourage applications from a wide range of backgrounds.
