The CNC Maintenance Lead conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of machinery and equipment associated with machine operations.
Responsibilities
- Repair CNC Machinery, manual machines, and machining centers
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machine tool equipment and controls
- Troubleshoot hydraulics, electronics, and software, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
- Use machine tool manuals, technical documents, and internal and vendor resources to research machine issues
- Identify and replace parts as necessary
- Complete testing and make adjustments of parts as needed
- Complete planned and preventative procedures
- Work based on a sense of urgency with machine down conditions.
- Be able to clearly document all work in the maintenance management system.

Required Skills
- Five (5) years experience in Repair and Maintenance of CNC machinery using a variety of hand tool and diagnostic equipment
- One (1) year minimum of experience in Lock out Tag out and Arc Flash Safety
- One (1) year minimum of experience in basic plumbing
- Fully experienced with all basic hand tools and tool box
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and technical procedures
- Ability to read part manuals, electrical and mechanical schematics, assembly instructions, and troubleshooting guides.
- Knowledge of CNC machine design and operation
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and speak clearly and effectively with groups of customers or employees of organization
- High School Diploma or equivalent education
