Job Description:

GigaTECH LLC is seeking an experienced Technical Applications/Systems Analyst to support the analysis, design, and integration of information systems and commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software at Veterans Affairs. The ideal candidate will leverage structured analysis and design methodologies to translate business requirements into effective system solutions while evaluating cost factors and risks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline
• 5+ years of experience
• 8 years’ additional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to evaluate cost factors, risks, and potential impacts to ensure the viability and efficiency of proposed solutions
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), ITIL Foundation, or PMI-PBA are preferred

Required Experience:

• Proven experience in IT systems analysis, design, and integration, with a focus on COTS software solutions
• Conducting in-depth analysis, design, and integration of IT systems and COTS software to meet organizational needs
• Translating business requirements into system specifications using structured analysis and design methodologies
• Collaborating with stakeholders to identify, document, and prioritize system requirements
• Strong knowledge of structured analysis and design methodologies (e.g., UML, BPMN, or other frameworks)

• Experience providing technical expertise in the implementation and integration of system solutions
