The Project Manager will be responsible for supervising the daily production schedule and ensuring all work is carried out in a professional, efficient and timely manner. The Project Manager will serve as the primary conduit between the Sales, Design, and Production Manager. This person will ensure all employees are kept informed of the latest production schedules and timelines. The successful candidate will report directly to the General Manager and collaborate with Designers, Sales and Production Manager to ensure effective communication and a seamless flow of work throughout the different departments.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Sales, Design and Production Teams to keep production on schedule and within budget while exceeding customer expectations
• Track and create an effective and efficient Production Flow schedule
• Review all design plans ensuring that the BOMs are complete and accurate before they are ordered
• Materials ordering and procurement, working with vendors
• Working with shipping and crating companies to ensure final product is delivered to customer
• Keep customers updated on the jobs progress as it moves through the shop
• Work with Accounting team and accounting software to service clients

Experience Required:

• Experience with ordering materials and inventory for production components and shop supplies
• Understanding of current metal fabrication and technology
• Must be able to read/interpret construction drawings accurately
• Must be proficient in office computer skills

Working Conditions:

This position primarily works in a shop environment. This position is occasionally required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift up to 60 lbs. May be required to stand on feet for lengthy periods of time. This position may be exposed to exhaust fumes or other airborne particles.
