Job Description

Larson Financial Holdings LLC is seeking an experienced Retirement Plan Assistant that can contribute to providing exceptional service and support in managing retirement plans. In this role, you will collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals to assist with plan administration, client relations, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will be key in helping our clients achieve their retirement goals.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in the administration and management of retirement plans, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of participant information and plan documentation.
  • Prepare and process necessary paperwork for plan enrollments, distributions, and other transactions
  • Respond to participant inquiries and provide information regarding plan details and benefits.
  • Coordinate with retirement plan providers and vendors to ensure seamless plan operations.
  • Assist in the preparation and dissemination of plan materials, including statements, notices, and reports.
  • Support the plan audit process by gathering required documentation and information.
  • Conduct regular data entry and updates in the retirement plan management software.
  • Monitor plan activities and report any discrepancies or issues to the plan administrator.
  • Assist in organizing and facilitating enrollment meetings and educational sessions for plan participants.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial services or retirement plan administration.
  • Strong knowledge of retirement plan types, including 401(k), IRAs, and pension plans.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Familiarity with retirement plan management software and databases.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Customer service orientation with a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Basic understanding of relevant regulations and compliance standards (e.g., ERISA).
  • Willingness to attend ongoing training and development sessions.
