Service & Warranty Technician at ALLY BUILDING SOLUTIONS – Riverview, Florida

Job Summary

Perform tasks required for cabinet and countertop repair, adjustment, replacement, or installation; able to apply experience in all phases of cabinetry such as laminating, re-finishing and installation to make a quality finished installation acceptable to Bailey Industries, Inc.’s standards and customer requirements.

Responsibilities and Duties

Must perform all adjustments, replacement, finishing, laminating, and other service work assigned within the scheduled time frame as assigned;. Must communicate regularly with supervisor or manager regarding current location, status of work, need for tools or supplies, delays and reasons for delays, any concerns or problems, as well as progress through the day’s schedule; if assigned company property , such as tools and equipment or vehicle, must perform daily checks and maintenance of company property and report appropriately to the Service Manager.

Must follow company’s organizational flow of paperwork as well as all company policies and procedures, including safety policies

Qualifications and Skills

REQUIREMENTS:

• Attendance record in line with Bailey Industries, Inc.’s attendance policy
• Technical trade school certification in woodworking or carpentry field; cabinet manufacturing or installation experience preferred
• Clean driving record
• Must know how to use hand tools, tape measure and power tools
• Written communication skills sufficient to be able to write accurate reports and work orders using proper format
• Verbal communication skills sufficient to be able to speak over telephone clearly using a well-modulated voice
• Reading communication skills sufficient to be able to read and accurately interpret documents such as shop drawings, blue prints, technical procedures, product specifications and company policies and procedures, as well as maps and directions.
