Perioperative Aide at Crouse Hospital – Syracuse, New York

To assist the perioperative team in delivering care to the patient. Duties may include transporting patients, assisting with room turnovers, performing daily terminal cleaning of all surgical suites/sub-sterile and scrub areas, equipment and specimen transport throughout the hospital and neighboring locations, and delivery/retrieval of equipment and supplies.

Job Requirements: Must be a graduate of high school or equivalent program. Demonstrates ability to work under stressful conditions in an independent fashion. Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at the time of hire or within two (2) weeks after hire date. This position requires the ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff and visitors.
