Job Summary
Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate The Good Life Group is proud to be a part of the Southwest Iowa community and has operated an office at 229 S Main Street since 2020. As our presence continues to grow, we're excited to expand with a brand-new office opening this spring.
We're seeking a driven, solutions-oriented individual to lead the daily operations of our new location. This person will be responsible for ensuring a welcoming and streamlined office environment, balancing a variety of tasks, and serving as the first point of contact for clients and business partners. In addition to managing office operations, this individual will play a key role in overseeing and processing transactions for our Iowa agents, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance throughout the process.

- Greet clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Answer phones promptly and determine how to best assist the caller.
- Coordinate logistics for office-specific meetings, training, and events.
- Learn to operate and troubleshoot office tools and equipment such as computers and printers.
- Order and maintain office supplies to ensure the office is well-stocked and organized.
- Maintain a tidy office environment through light cleaning and organization.
- Coordinate and stay on top of office maintenance and see work orders through to completion.
- Input new property listings timely and accurately, and maintain listings as directed.
- Review transaction contracts and supplemental paperwork for compliance.
- Complete regular transaction-focused projects and routine updates.
- Provide help desk support one week each month, processing transaction requests.
- Assist with various tasks and projects as needed to support the rest of the team.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as an office administrator or a similar role.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and G Suite.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.
- Consistent and reliable attendance.

Job Type: Full-time; 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
