Licensed Practical Nurse (LN II) at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

Willis Knighton Health is seeking an LPN to work in a fast-paced pediatric clinic. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate strong work ethics, critical thinking and organization skills, attention to detail, flexibility, dependability, possess excellent communication skills, have a solid knowledge of computers and have the initiative to work independently. We have an atmosphere of teamwork that we expect to continue with all new hires, as you will work closely with physicians, managers, and clerical and nursing staff as an integral component assisting with the daily operations of our clinics. The LPN will assist with nursing responsibilities, including but not limited to giving excellent customer service, filing, data entry, the ability to perform vital signs, answering / returning phone calls, refills and scheduling of tests as ordered. They will be working with the VFC program, administering childhood immunizations, medication storage and management. Hospital and departmental orientation will be provided upon completion of the hiring process, as well as training on our enterprise - wide practice management system, including health records. You will be required to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00pm.
