JOB SUMMARY:

• The certified pharmacy technician provides assistance in the specialty area of the pharmacy by providing safe and appropriate pharmacy services to patients in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Outpatient pharmacy department, the state’s professional standards and other regulatory entities.
• Complete prior authorizations, data entry, packaging, inventory, cashier

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field
• Minimum one year experience
• Registered and certified with the Maryland board of pharmacy
• Prior experience with Therigy specialty system a plus
