Junior Camp Counselor – Lake in the Woods Day Camp

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and engage children in camp activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times

- Assist senior counselors in organizing and leading recreational activities, games, and crafts

- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for all campers

- Enforce camp rules and safety protocols consistently and effectively

- Support the setup and cleanup of activity areas and camp facilities

- Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and team members to ensure a smooth camp experience

Skills and Qualifications:

- Enthusiastic, responsible, and dependable with a genuine interest in working with children

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

- Prior experience working with children or in a camp setting is a plus

- Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities

- Must be at least 16 years old or as specified by camp regulations

- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate leadership qualities
