Position Summary
We are seeking staff to work with at-risk youth. We take pride in our structured program that focuses on changing a client's behaviors, thinking patterns, and values. Our program primarily focuses on implementing behavioral changes to assist with a successful reintegration into the home, family, and community.
A Recreation Technician - Facilities is responsible for assisting in the safe and effective management of all current and future recreation facilities developed at the KidsPeace campuses. Recreation staff oversee and guide clients through a range of campus-based activities such as hikes, bike rides, the ropes course, and additional outdoor or recreational experiences.
Qualifications (Education, Training and Experience):
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of direct childcare experience preferred.
- Must pass a Criminal History Record Clearance & a Child Abuse History Clearance which are processed by KidsPeace as well as possess a valid driver's license.
- Must pass a Physical & Drug screening & possess the ability to attend & successfully complete all KidsPeace sponsored training. EOE
- Pass a criminal record history clearance and child abuse history clearance as well as possess a valid driver's license.
Shift Available
Position located in Orefield, PA
Requires weekends with 2 days off during the week (hours typically 11-8/12-9, weekend 9-5/10-6)

Competitive Pay: $18.50-$22.00 per hour, based on education and relatable experience.
