About This Position
Nurse Residency Prog Coord
Under the supervision of the Manager of Professional Development, the Nurse Residency Program Coordinator is responsible for the management and oversight of the Nurse Residency Program. This role includes the development, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of program curriculum; monitoring nurse resident progression through all program components; and designing innovative strategies to support retention of graduate nurses. Additional responsibilities include coordinating onboarding and orientation processes, assessing clinical competence, identifying continuing education needs, and developing programs that promote professional growth. The role will have opportunities to participate in interprofessional research, evidence-based practice initiatives, and quality improvement projects. The Nurse Residency Program Coordinator will foster a positive and supportive environment that promotes clinical learning, professional development, and excellence in nursing practice.
Annual Salary Range: $79,913.60 - $117.873.60
Qualifications
Education:
Education:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing.

Prefer Master’s degree in Nursing.
Experience:
-
Requires a minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible RN clinical practice or clinical educator/instructor experience that demonstrates a strong understanding of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Certification/Licensure:
-
Must possess a current, valid AZ RN license; temporary AZ RN license; or valid compact RN licensure for current state of practice.

Must also be in good standing with the issuing Board of Nursing.

Requires BLS issued by the American Heart Association.

Prefer professional nursing certification such as Nurse Professional Development or clinical area specific.

Additional life support instructor or other certifications may be required based on areas of responsibility.
