We’re seeking a talented, detail-oriented Account Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Customer Success Management Lead this role will be responsible for supporting client relationships post go-live, assisting with filing-related operations, and collaborating with Customer Success Managers to improve data accuracy, workflow adoption, and overall client experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of underwriters, including training, coaching, and performance management
• Review new and renewal submissions for eligibility, pricing, and coverage terms
• Provide guidance and support to team members on underwriting decisions and processes
• Communicate underwriting decisions and rationale to brokers and agents
• Maintain relationships with brokers, agents, and carrier or syndicate partners
• Ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines and compliance requirements
• Support communication of underwriting appetite and program guidelines to brokerage partners
• Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback to team members
• Support onboarding and development of underwriting staff
• Assist with departmental operations and workflow coordination
• Support consistent underwriting practices to contribute to program performance
• Required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned

Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in commercial insurance underwriting
• Excess and surplus lines experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Insurance designations such as CPCU, AINS, or ASLI preferred
• Experience leading or mentoring team members
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain underwriting decisions clearly
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of commercial insurance products and underwriting principles
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and support team operations

Compensation Range: $70k/yr - $83k/yr
