About the role
- Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support our clinical and administrative operations. The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations, including taking vital signs and medical histories
- Assist physicians during procedures and examinations
- Administer injections and medications as directed
- Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic health systems
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Perform basic lab tests and handle specimens
- Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready
- Provide exceptional patient care and support
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or relevant healthcare certification preferred
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is an advantage
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: UP to $22.00 per hour
