Location: Plant Camp located approximately 100 km south of Grande Prairie, Alberta

Position Type: Permanent Full-time

Wage/Salary Range: Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience and qualifications

Shift Schedule: 8 days on / 6 days off rotation

Hours Per Day: 10 to 12 hours per day, based on operational requirements

Job Overview:
GrizzlyTrek is currently seeking one Field Operator / Gas Plant Operator to join our Valued Clients team at a plant and field operation located approximately 100 km south of Grande Prairie, Alberta. This is a permanent full-time camp-based position. Candidates must reside within three hours of Grande Prairie, Alberta.

The successful candidate will support both field and plant operations in a sweet gas environment and play a key role in safe, reliable production.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor field and plant equipment in a sweet, high-pressure gas environment

  • Conduct well and facility operations including plunger lift and gas lift systems

  • Perform three-phase separation and routine production monitoring

  • Pick pipelines and assist with plant operations as required

  • Complete inspections, troubleshooting, and minor operational maintenance

  • Maintain accurate operational logs and reports

  • Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in oil and gas field operations and/or gas plant operations

  • Experience working with high-pressure sweet gas systems

  • Strong understanding of safety procedures and operational best practices

  • Ability to work independently in a remote camp environment

  • Valid driver’s license and legal eligibility to work in Canada

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with plunger lift and gas lift operations

  • Experience with three-phase separation systems

  • Familiarity with pipeline operations and plant support activities

Work Environment:

  • Combination of field and plant operations

  • Camp-based position located approximately 100 km south of Grande Prairie

  • Camp accommodations provided while on shift

  • Candidates must reside within three hours of Grande Prairie, Alberta
