JOB PURPOSE

The Facilities Coordinator will oversee general facilities maintenance as well as operation of building facilities including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. Building maintenance oversight includes the Shop, the Washing Bay and the Main Office building.

POSITION LOCATION

Clairmont, Alberta

ROLES/RESPONSIBITIES

· Responsible for operation of building facilities including plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems

· Responsible for overseeing general facilities maintenance.

· May need to implement site changes for the facility as the company's needs change

· Handles special projects as assigned.

· May tear down, relocate and set up modular and or conventional furniture and equipment.

· Protects the furniture and equipment

· Assists with inventory control through completion for standard procedures such as parts requests, repair schedules, shipment delivery, and receipt logs.

· Uses a wide variety of hand and power tools.

· Handles special projects as assigned.

WORK SCHEDULE

5 days on 2 days off

WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL ABILITIES

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. The employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the environment is moderate to loud.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, sit and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms, lift up to 50 pounds. Occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk, hear and smell; lift more than 100 pounds. The vision requirements include: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

QUALIFICATIONS

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· 4+ years experience

· Ability to repair and maintain an administrative facility

· Light analytical skills

· Working knowledge of facilitates management and local codes as applicable.
