Position Requirements-

A Finance Analyst Assistant with experience in the healthcare revenue cycle outlines the management of a business’s entire financial lifecycle. This role optimizes cash flow, reduces billing errors, analyzes financial data, and resolves payment discrepancies across departments. It provides crucial analytical, technical, and operational support to optimize revenue capture and ensure financial compliance. This role is responsible for assisting with reporting, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as denials and days in accounts receivable (AR), and auditing patient accounts for billing accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and financial planning processes across departments
  • Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and SQL queries
  • Preferred bachelor’s degree with finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
• Develop and maintain project forecasting models to support strategic decision-making and scenario analysis
  • Identify trends and performance drivers through deep analysis of operational, billing, and financial datasets
• Support internal and third-party workstreams, including financial, legal, and operational
  • Business background with a core understanding of the aforementioned areas and ability to support senior team members with reporting for these functions
• Work closely with the data team to prepare reporting packages, dashboards, and summary materials for senior leadership from the Company’s operational and billing systems
  • Ensure data integrity by performing quality checks and resolving discrepancies between financial systems, data platforms, and prior information summaries
  • Translate complex data outputs into clear business insights for non-technical stakeholders
  • Support ad hoc financial and operational analysis for strategic initiatives and leadership requests

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Basic understanding of financial principles and accounting practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and time management abilities
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
