Nanny / Child Caregiver & Family Assistant (Part-Time) at D&M UPTOWN RENTALS LLC – Alamogordo/High Rolls, New Mexico

We are seeking a reliable, caring, and organized Nanny / Child Caregiver & Family Assistant to support our family during the workday. The primary responsibility is caring for our 5-month-old baby while the parents work on-site from home or other nearby locations. Required schedule is Monday through Friday 9 am - 2 pm, can add a 30 minute lunchbreak and extend the day to 2:30.

Occasionally, the role will also include caring for the child’s 3.5-year-old sibling. In addition to childcare, the position includes light household support, organization, and occasional errands to help keep the household running smoothly.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with infants, is proactive and dependable, and is comfortable helping with light household tasks.

Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.

While the primary purpose of this job is childcare and household support, there is growth potential for full time work and upward mobility in our family business.

Childcare

• Provide attentive, nurturing care for a 5-month-old infant
  
• Support feeding, naps, diaper changes, and developmental play
  
• Occasionally care for a 3.5-year-old sibling
  
• Maintain a safe, engaging, and clean environment for the children
  
• Take the baby on walks or engage in age-appropriate activities
  

Household & Family Assistant Duties

• Light meal preparation (family meals, baby food prep when applicable)
  
• Running occasional errands (groceries, pickups, etc.)
  
• Light cleaning and tidying related to daily household activities
  
• Laundry and organization related to the children
  
• General home organization and support tasks
  

Travel Support

• Occasional opportunity to travel as a travel nanny for family vacations or work conferences
  
• Assist with childcare during travel when needed

• Primary work location: Alamogordo, NM
  
• Occasional travel to High Rolls, NM
  
• Reliable transportation is required

• Previous nanny, childcare, or infant care experience preferred
  
• References required
  
• Comfortable caring for infants and young children
  
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
  
• Organized and proactive
  
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

• Warm, patient, and attentive personality
  
• Experience with infants under 1 year
  
• Comfortable multitasking between childcare and light household tasks
  
• Flexible and open to occasional travel with the family
