Accounting Manager at Grace Manufacturing Inc – Russellville, Arkansas

We are seeking qualified candidates for an Accounting Manager that can provide accounting expertise for our manufacturing and e-commerce operations in Russellville, Arkansas, and elsewhere.

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a highly motivated and detail orientated individual who can be a solutions-oriented contributor to the team. This position reports to the Corporate Controller.

Key Responsibilities for this position include:

• Drive timely monthly accounting close for assigned business units. Prepare account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting documentation
• Prepare business unit financial statements and assist in preparing consolidated financial statements
• Provide expertise in manufacturing accounting and financial analysis to help management improve company performance
• Create and improve accounting and business processes
• Direct the activities of accounting clerical personnel, as needed
• Maintain systems and internal controls for assigned business units
• Sales/ Use tax returns for multiple states
• Other duties assigned as needed

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Bachelors’ degree in accounting
• At least 5 years of experience with general ledger accounting and financial statement preparation
• Manufacturing or construction accounting experience
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel, including pivot tables and experience working with accounting and ERP systems
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Strong interpersonal skills, team player, and excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to successfully manage competing priorities and make solid decisions

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to sit or stand in a stationary position up to 100% of the time.
• Must be able to walk in an office and production environment up to 100% of the time.
• Must be able to exchange accurate and concise information verbally in person and on the phone.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
