RN Supervisor, Surgical Services at Central Peninsula Hospital – Soldotna, Alaska

POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Surgical Services Director, the Surgical Services Supervisor is responsible for directing and coordinating the daily peri-operative clinical activities within the operating room to ensure continuity and quality of nursing care. This role provides clinical expertise through the coordination, guidance, and education of nursing staff and ensures that patient needs are met by maintaining appropriate daily staffing levels. The Supervisor works collaboratively with the Director to enhance the department’s overall performance, serves as a liaison between the medical staff and other departments, and assumes the Director’s responsibilities in their absence.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing
• 3 years of OR Nursing experience in an Acute Care Hospital
• 1 year of Healthcare Leadership experience
• State of Alaska RN License
• BLSP, ACLS & PALS from the American Heart Association
