About This Position

Position SummaryGA Foods is seeking an experienced Clinical Dietitian to join our team in a PRN or part-time, fully remote capacity. This flexible, as-needed role averages 15+ hours per week (typically 10–30 hours in variable blocks, with no guaranteed hours or benefits).

In this role, you will conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for referred members via phone consultations, provide medical nutrition therapy, and support care plan development aligned with GA Foods’ programs and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and provide medical nutrition therapy (MNT), including diet modification, education, and interventions
  • Develop, implement, and revise individualized nutrition care plans
  • Perform member consultations via phone and document all interactions accurately and timely
  • Maintain compliance with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual
  • Ensure adherence to HIPAA, confidentiality, and patient rights standards
  • Manage scheduling tools and coordinate member appointments efficiently
  • Submit accurate records and monthly productivity reports
  • Share relevant educational materials with members to support health outcomes
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Culinary, Quality, and Operations teams to align nutrition recommendations with program offerings
  • Participate in team meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and member satisfaction efforts
  • Stay current on nutrition science, trends, and best practices and integrate them into care delivery
  • Provide services on a flexible weekly schedule as agreed upon with GA Foods

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food & Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field from an accredited institution
  • Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential – required
  • Active state licensure (where applicable); licensure in one or more of the following states preferred: TX, FL, KY, WA, IL, NY, OR, WV
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in medical nutrition therapy
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) – Strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP or electronic documentation systems – required
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing time and priorities effectively
Work Schedule & Expectations
  • Fully remote, flexible PRN/part-time role
  • Average 15+ hours per week
  • Hours may vary based on business needs and member volume
