We are seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide hospice care throughout Kitsap County. Care is delivered in a variety of settings, including private homes, adult family homes, assisted living communities, and skilled nursing facilities. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the CNA supports the hospice plan of care and collaborates closely with the interdisciplinary team.

Hourly compensation: $24.00 – $27.00/hour (based on direct hospice/home health experience)
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Support mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure comfort and prevent skin breakdown.
- Aid with feeding and hydration, monitoring intake as needed.
- Observe and promptly report changes in condition to the care team.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and families.
- Follow individualized care plans and instructions to ensure patient needs are met.
- Offer respite care by providing coverage and support to family caregivers.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and organizational policies.
- Active Washington State CNA certified in good standing
- Active BLS certification
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Minimum 1 year experience in hospice or home health preferred
- Minimum 2-3 years of healthcare related experience required
- Proficient with EMR systems and healthcare technologies
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, initiative, and work independently within scope of practice
