Schedule: Monday – Friday

Compensation: $24.00 – $27.00/hour + Benefits

We are seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide hospice care throughout Kitsap County. Care is delivered in a variety of settings, including private homes, adult family homes, assisted living communities, and skilled nursing facilities. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the CNA supports the hospice plan of care and collaborates closely with the interdisciplinary team.

Hourly compensation: $24.00 – $27.00/hour (based on direct hospice/home health experience)

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
  • Support mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure comfort and prevent skin breakdown.
  • Aid with feeding and hydration, monitoring intake as needed.
  • Observe and promptly report changes in condition to the care team.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and families.
  • Follow individualized care plans and instructions to ensure patient needs are met.
  • Offer respite care by providing coverage and support to family caregivers.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and organizational policies.
Requirements:
  • Active Washington State CNA certified in good standing
  • Active BLS certification
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Minimum 1 year experience in hospice or home health preferred
  • Minimum 2-3 years of healthcare related experience required
  • Proficient with EMR systems and healthcare technologies
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, initiative, and work independently within scope of practice
