Office Coordinator – Pediatric Practice

Schedule: 36 hours Per Week!!!

Are you ready to take the next step in your healthcare career? Do you thrive in a fast-paced medical office where you can lead, support, and make a real impact on patient experience? If so, we’d love to meet you.

We’re looking for a confident and detail-oriented Office Coordinator to help lead our front desk operations and support our Patient Representative team. In this role, you’ll partner closely with the Practice Manager to ensure smooth daily operations, exceptional patient service, and a well-trained, high-performing team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for all Patient Representative responsibilities
  • Lead and support front desk staff to ensure accurate scheduling and insurance verification
  • Monitor daily workflows and resolve operational challenges quickly and effectively
  • Provide hands-on training, coaching, and mentorship to team members
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and continuous staff development
  • Ensure compliance with procedures, policies, and quality standards
  • Act as a go-to resource for staff and patients, addressing questions and concerns
  • Collaborate with leadership to improve processes and enhance the patient experience
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of patient and employee information
What You Bring
  • Experience managing or leading a front desk in a medical office
  • Strong knowledge of scheduling and insurance verification processes
  • Proven ability to train, coach, and support team members
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and organizational ability
  • Commitment to delivering outstanding patient service
  • Epic experience
Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to train and monitor staff to provide assistance and support to the Patient Representatives
  • An ability to problem-solve effectively including data collection, consensus building, communication and implementation of the solution

Required Length & Type of Experience:

  • 2 years of customer service experience
  • Ambulatory setting preferred not required
