Connecticut GI, a division of GI Alliance,is looking for afull-time experienced Scheduler to join our New Britain Care Center!We are the largest gastroenterology practice in the state of Connecticut with over 30 Care Centers and still growing.     What You Will Do For Us:


  • Providing Remarkable Patient Experience: Schedule procedure and office visit appointments following CTGI policy and scripting

  • Attention to Detail:Update insurance and demographic information when scheduling appointments and procedures, obtain cardiac clearance for patients scheduled for procedures where warranted and follow up on procedure to ensure ASC has documentation

  • Team Player:Assist with any general office function at the request of the site supervisors or managers and lend support to other CTGI staff members as required, to ensure proper patient care and smooth functioning of the office

  • Bilingual is a plus.

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
    Experience: 2-5 years of prior medical scheduling is preferred
    Requirements for Level I Status:

  • Entry level (1-4 years experience) and/or meet the basic requirements of the job with the need for additional supervision.
  • Excess of 4 years experience if meeting only the basic requirements of the job with need for additional supervision.

  • Performance Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient technical (computer) skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Self-motivated with initiative.
  • Strong sense of ethics.
