About the role

We are seeking a motivated and curious Cybersecurity Intern to join our Delivery team. This is a hands-on internship designed to give you real exposure to how cybersecurity assessments and advisory engagements are structured and executed. For 10 weeks, you will work alongside experienced consultants and security professionals on work that directly supports our clients' compliance and security goals.

This internship is ideal for students who are interested in pursuing a cybersecurity consulting career and want practical experience beyond the classroom. • Participate in client-facing meetings and internal project calls to observe and support delivery
  • Help maintain engagement trackers, evidence repositories, and project management tools
  • Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing, templates, and process improvement initiatives
  • Shadow senior consultants on advisory engagements including risk assessments, gap analyses, and remediation planning
  • Escalate assessment findings and/or client issues to project lead upon discovery.
  • Support client communications, status meetings, and coordination during the assessment lifecycle.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Currently pursuing a degree in one of the following fields:
    • Computer Science or Computer Engineering
    • Information Technology or Information Systems

    • Are detail-oriented and comfortable working with structured frameworks and documentation
    • Communicate clearly verbally and in writing
    • Are proactive, curious, and willing to ask questions
    • Are familiar with any of the following (a plus, not a requirement): NIST frameworks, GRC concepts, cloud platforms, or security tooling
  • Bonus Points:
    • Relevant coursework in network security, risk management, audit, or cloud computing
    • Exposure to certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CC (ISC2), or similar entry-level credentials
    • Prior internship, lab, or project experience in a security or IT environment
    • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, FISMA, CMMC, ISO, NIST)

What You’ll Gain
