At Sterling Infrastructure, we’re growing through acquisition. We need someone who understands how to step into that environment, assess what’s in place, and help drive integration efforts across multiple businesses.

This is not a traditional IT Project Manager role.

This position is focused on acquisition integration—supporting IT workstreams tied to mergers and acquisitions from due diligence through Day 1 and post-close execution.

1. Lead IT workstreams for acquisition integration efforts across multiple deals
2. Partner with Corporate Development and business leaders on integration planning and execution
3. Support IT due diligence by assessing applications, infrastructure, data, and security environments
4. Help drive Day 1 readiness (access, systems, communications, cutover coordination)
5. Coordinate post-close integration across systems, data, and infrastructure
6. Track timelines, risks, and dependencies—keeping leadership informed and aligned

1. Direct experience supporting or leading IT integration efforts tied to acquisitions (M&A)
2. Experience across the full lifecycle (due diligence ? Day 1 ? post-close integration)
3. Ability to clearly explain your role in past acquisition integrations (what you owned and delivered)
4. Experience working across multiple IT environments (ERP systems, Microsoft 365, infrastructure, etc.)
5. Strong communication skills—you’ll be working directly with leadership and cross-functional teams

1. Your experience is primarily limited to internal IT projects (ERP implementations, system upgrades, infrastructure refreshes)
2. You have not been directly involved in acquisition integration or M&A activity
3. You prefer highly structured, slow-moving environments

Tools & Experience

1. MS Project, Visio, Excel, SharePoint
2. Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), critical path (CPM) scheduling
3. Epic/Story development in Agile environments
4. Enterprise-level project documentation and reporting
5. Experience reporting project progress to senior leadership and C-suite stakeholders
