About This Position
• Collaborate with the Downtown Atlanta Inc. leadership team to develop and execute HR strategies aligned
with the organization’s mission and goals and ensure HR perspectives are integrated into
decision-making processes.
• Cultivate effective relationships with external HR-related organizations and service providers,
especially ADP, the contracted Human Resources provider for Atlanta Downtown.
• Assist executive leadership in managing ADID and CAP’s Total Rewards (compensation,
benefits, and leave) programs to maintain competitiveness and alignment with organizational
values.
• Develop, implement, and oversee performance management systems, including performance
appraisal frameworks, feedback mechanisms, and goal-setting processes.
• Provide recommendations and support for Total Rewards studies and analyze compensation
and benefits trends.
• Lead recruitment efforts in collaboration with hiring managers, focusing on cultivating diverse
candidate pools.
• Oversee onboarding and training processes to ensure successful integration of new
employees.
• Develop and implement employee retention strategies to attract and retain high-performing
talent.
• Provide guidance and support to executive leadership and people managers to create and
maintain an inclusive work environment.
• Serve as a liaison between leadership and employees, addressing inquiries and facilitating
conflict resolution and investigations ensuring compliance with organizational policies and
regulations.
• Support managers on policy matters such as progressive discipline and equal employment
opportunity.
• Stay updated on Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) guidelines, affirmative action laws,
and other relevant legislation to prepare, amend and advise on HR policies, procedures, and
relevant laws and regulations.
• Responsibility for Occupational Health and Safety programs, including compliance, tracking
and reporting.
