Description:

Flexsys, a leading manufacturer of tire additive products, has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Manager. The Maintenance Manager reports to the W.G. Krummrich Site Manager and is accountable for all maintenance services support at the site. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead continuous improvements in processes and people, driving toward the culture defined by the site vision. The salary range for this position is $145,000 to $160,000.

Responsibilities:

· Prioritize multiple demands and allocate resources to the highest priorities with input from others Operations / HSES / Engineering

· Set clear expectations for all maintenance employees and ensure those expectations are met

· Champion change management in the areas of safety, environmental stewardship, and productivity

· Role model and create an environment that reflects the Flexsys values

· Implement / utilize processes that enable employees to realize their full productive potential in support of the organization’s goals

· Provide leadership to technical and non-technical team members through coaching, development and accountability

· Develop and manage the M&R budget to meet annual cost targets

· Develop maintenance organizational capabilities to deliver world class reliability and cost performance through proper balancing of internal and external resources

· Collaborate with Procurement to select Equipment Vendors and define spare parts strategy

· Create and drive the reliability program at the site.

Requirements:

Required Knowledge, Experience & Skills:

· B.S. in Engineering Discipline, with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience (preferably chemical), and 5 or more years of management experience

· High level of emotional intelligence, with ability to build relationships and engage employees at all levels in the organization to drive improvements

· Exceptional leadership skills demonstrated through employee coaching, development and accountability

· Sound judgment and analysis skills to make the right decisions to manage risk

· Passion to lead change in health, safety and environmental stewardship

· Excellent communication skills

· Knowledge of OSHA PSM

· SAP proficiency is preferred

· Experience in a union plant is preferred
