About This Position
JANSON is looking for a Program/Portfolio Manager that will work from the firm’s Headquarters office in Fairfax, Virginia. Our future PM/Portfolio Manager will be chartered to manage schedules, contract performance and pricing over multiple government contracts through the United States. The ideal candidate must have the following:
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum of 5 years of PM and portfolio management experience.
· Understanding government contracts, ISO compliance and the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
· Experience in managing cost-plus contracts, FFP and T&M.
· Analyze and manage monthly labor allocation and resourcing.
· Ability to brief senior leaders and stakeholders with actionable information on cost, schedule and performance.
· Exceptional problem solver and interpersonal skills with effective leadership abilities.
· PMP certification (preferred) but not required.
· Ability to travel domestically to visit customers (30% travel expected annually).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Monitor programs to ensure project goals and contractual requirements are met.
· Develop milestone schedules and work streams.
· Interface with customers and partners to discuss program performance, schedules, cost models, and programmatic solutions.
· Proven ability to work with and on work management systems such as CostPoint, Smartsheet and preferably Procore Construction Management Software.
· Ensure projects are completed on time and budget to the requirements of the PWS.
· Negotiates and prepares contracts by considering the financial conditions, resources, and contractual requirements.
· Serves as an advisor to domain and project leads regarding projects, tasks, and operations.
· Develops new business by helping shape opportunities with existing customers.
