About This Position

Position Description:
What You'll Do

Senior Leadership Lead electrical engineering designs for complex industrial renovation projects while guiding teams of multiple electrical engineers and designers on larger, more sophisticated projects.

Strategic Planning Collaborate with technical resource groups and project management to develop comprehensive project execution plans, estimates, and schedules for major industrial initiatives.

Client Excellence Interface regularly with client counterparts to ensure technical designs align with requirements while fostering long-term business development relationships.

What You Bring

Must-Have Qualifications
  • Education: B.S. in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience: 8-25 years in industrial electrical power, distribution, area classification, schematics, grounding, lighting, and heat tracing systems
  • Technical Skills: Advanced project scoping, estimating, and detailed electrical design
  • Software: Expert-level electrical modeling software (SKM, ETAP), lighting/heat trace design
  • Certifications: PE preferred, ability to obtain TWIC card

  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Independent work capability with advanced leadership skills
  • Comprehensive National Electrical Code understanding
  • Advanced self-checking and quality control abilities

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Able to sit/stand, type, and perform computer work for long periods of time.
  • Frequent use of hands/fingers for computer entry and answering calls.
  • Able to perform occasional bending, lifting, and reaching.
  • Must be able to lift 15 lbs if necessary.
  • Visual acuity sufficient for reading documents, computer screens, and technical materials.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally in-person, by phone, and via video conferencing.
  • Hearing ability adequate for meetings, presentations, and collaboration.
  • Ability to concentrate and maintain attention for extended periods while managing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work irregular hours including evenings and weekends as business needs require.
  • Able to travel to job sites (local and/or remote) as project needs require.
  • Able to work in heavy industrial environments while wearing required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, fire-retardant clothing, gloves, etc.).
  • Able to climb ladders, stairs, and work on elevated surfaces.
  • Able to walk on uneven terrain and surfaces.
  • May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions and industrial environments during site visits.
