Job Summary:
Summit-Horizon Dental Lab is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Crown and Bridge Dental Laboratory Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in fabricating dental restorations, and prosthetics. You will be responsible for working with various materials and technologies to create high-quality dental restorations while adhering to industry standards and regulations. The successful candidate should be passionate about dental technology, possess excellent technical skills, and be committed to delivering precision and excellence in their work.
Key Responsibilities:
•Fabricate dental prostheses, including crowns, bridges, veneers, and other restorations, using a variety of materials and techniques.
•Read and interpret dental prescriptions and specifications provided by dentists and prosthodontists.
•
Utilize CAD/CAM technology and digital dentistry systems for designing and manufacturing dental appliances.
•Perform quality control checks to ensure the accuracy, fit, and aesthetics of dental products.
•Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following strict infection control and safety protocols.
•Collaborate with other team members, including dental technicians, dentists, and administrative staff to ensure effective communication and workflow.
•Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies, and implement best practices to enhance the quality of work.
•Troubleshoot technical issues, make necessary adjustments, and perform repairs as needed.
•Handle sensitive patient information and dental records with the utmost confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
•Participate in continuing education and professional development to expand your skills and knowledge in dental technology.
Qualifications:
•High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a formal dental laboratory technician program and/or Certified Dental Technician (CDT) preferred.
•Proven experience as a Crown and Bridge Dental Laboratory Technician with expertise in various dental restorations and appliances.
•Proficiency in working with a wide range of dental materials, including ceramics, acrylics, metals, and composites.
•Knowledge of digital dentistry, CAD/CAM systems, and 3D printing is a plus.
•Strong attention to detail, precision, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
•Understanding of dental anatomy, occlusion, and esthetics.
•Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
•Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
•Willingness to stay updated on industry advancements and regulations.
•Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently in a high-volume laboratory setting.
