Adjunct Instructor, Automotive and Transportation at Stark State College (OH) – North Canton, Ohio

The Automotive Technology Instructor will perform classroom instruction, demonstration, and facilitate interactive and/or hands-on learning in a classroom and/or shop/lab environment.
Instruct students on proper service and repair procedures. The instructor will track student performance, cover class learning outcomes and complete required college student tracking and grading processes in a timely manner. The instructor will setup and teardown the classroom and lab and/or will prepare presentations, learning activities when applicable.

• Associates Degree in Automotive Technology, and/or Post-secondary certificate from ASE Education Foundation accredited program, and/or Automotive technician continuing education certifications equaling or exceeding a post-secondary automotive certificate (to be determined by training transcript review by the automotive and transportation department chair and/or coordinator) AND five years full-time equivalent related work experience required

• Or if previous is not met, then must have at least ten years, full-time equivalent, related work experience required.
