About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team in the Health Care Services industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, managing patient records, scheduling appointments, and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk. As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a critical role in the daily operations of our clinic, and your attention to detail and ability to multitask will be essential to your success in this role.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in a medical office or similar setting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Experience with insurance verification and billing
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Experience working with patients in a healthcare setting

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
  • Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using our electronic medical records system
  • Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments
  • Maintain patient records and ensure they are accurate and up-to-date
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents

Skills:

As a Medical Receptionist, you will utilize your excellent communication and customer service skills to provide exceptional care to our patients. Your ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will be critical to your success in this role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems will be necessary to manage patient records and schedule appointments.
