Position Description:

We are looking for an experienced Lead HVAC Technician to serve as our team's primary technical expert. In this role, you will handle advanced diagnostics and Service while providing guidance to junior technicians. This is a leadership-focused position ideal for a high-level field professional ready to move into a supervisory or senior-tier role.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex light commercial, Commercial and VRF HVAC systems, including hydronic, Water Cooled, and VRF systems.

Team Mentorship: Supervise and train junior technicians and helpers on-site, ensuring work meets high standards of professionalism and safety.

Customer Experience: Communicate clearly with clients, explaining technical issues and providing repair vs. replacement options.

Operational Excellence: Maintain an organized company truck, manage inventory for critical spare parts, and ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.

Required Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 5+ years of hands-on HVAC service technician.

Leadership: At least 2 years of experience in a crew lead or supervisory capacity.

Certifications: Valid EPA Universal Certification (required) and state-level HVAC license.

Knowledge: Advanced understanding of electrical, gas, refrigeration systems, and local building codes.

Driving: Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) or smart home controls.

NATE Certification or specialized boiler/hydronics training.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $35.00 $45.00 per hour (based on experience), plus performance-based bonuses.
