KC Rehab is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Front Office Assistant to join our clinic team. This role is the first point of contact for patients and plays a key role in delivering an excellent patient experience while supporting daily clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
- Answer phones and manage incoming communications
- Schedule patient appointments and support clinic flow
- Assemble and maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing-related documentation
- Ensure all required patient information is complete in the EMR system
- Process and send Plan of Care, progress notes, and other communications to physicians and referral sources
- Collect insurance co-pays
- Support general office duties such as faxing, filing, and mail distribution
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- One or more years of medical office, records, or administrative experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and EMR systems preferred
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
