Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner – Gynecologic Oncology
Summary
Join a highly engaged, mission-driven Gynecologic Oncology team providing comprehensive care in a dedicated Gynecologic Oncology clinic within Beacon Medical Group located within Beacon Memorial Hospital. You will work closely with two deeply committed Gynecologic Oncologists who prioritize mentorship, professional development, and team-based learning. This role offers a rare opportunity to build expertise across the full continuum of Gynecologic Oncology care (chemotherapy management, surgical care, cancer surveillance, and a strong connection to inpatient management) while collaborating with infusion staff and radiation oncology to support seamless patient care. You will make a meaningful impact on a highly vulnerable patient population, serving as a trusted partner to patients and families navigating complex cancer diagnoses.
This position offers a 4-day work week, supporting both professional growth and work-life balance.

Responsibilities
Clinical Care
- Conduct comprehensive histories and physical examinations
- Manage acute and chronic conditions within APC’s scope of practice
- Support pre- and post-operative care and surgical coordination
- Collaborate with infusion and radiation oncology teams to align treatment plans
- Provide continuity across outpatient clinic, surgery, and inpatient touchpoints
- Administer medications and injections as directed
Patient Education & Support
- Counsel patients and families through complex diagnoses and treatment pathways
- Provide education on symptom management, wellness, and survivorship
- Serve as a steady, compassionate presence for patients facing cancer care decisions
Documentation & Quality
- Complete accurate documentation, coding, and billing.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Help refine workflows, protocols, and care pathways.
Professional Development
- Engage in ongoing learning through seminars, conferences, and educational offerings
- Maintain affiliation with relevant professional organizations
- Stay current with evolving clinical guidelines, standards, and best practices

Education & Experience
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner program
- Current Indiana license and board certification
- 2+ years of PA/NP experience preferred (women’s health, oncology, surgery, or family practice a plus)
- New graduates with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to build patient rapport
Working Environment and Physical Demands
- Occasional exposure to biohazards
- Requires physical stamina (standing, walking, assisting patients, lifting up to 50 lbs, CPR, etc.)
