Triumph Thermal Systems is medium sized aerospace manufacturing company designing and building various heat exchangers for both civilian and military aircraft.
Supply Chain Intern will be working under close supervision of designated Purchasing/Planning/Scheduling personnel, responsible for performing any combination of Purchasing/Planning and associated support duties which require a broad understanding of operations and supply chain. Perform a wide variety of projects, prepare reports and analyses by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, prepare schedules, support continuous improvement team, etc.
We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Intern to fill this role for our Forest, Ohio Location.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate part tracking and expediting activities, communicate change requirements to Purchasing, Production, & Suppliers.
- Perform ERP system data integrity maintenance.
- Assist in planning/scheduling/purchasing duties.
- Perform data entry, run status reports, file and perform other general administrative duties as needed.
- Lead special projects as assigned.
- Actively working towards Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or like field.
- Must demonstrate a strong work ethic, leadership abilities and possess interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated track record of academic performance 2.75 accumulative GPA or better
- Must demonstrate effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Have the willingness to learn, be mentored, and improve.
- Solid Understanding of concepts of inventory flow, inventory management, and planning
- Due to our company’s position as a key supplier to the US defense industry. All candidates must possess permanent authorization to work in the United States.
