About the Role:

The Parts & Inventory Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient management and availability of parts and inventory within the organization. This position is responsible for overseeing the accurate tracking, ordering, and distribution of parts to support operational needs and minimize downtime. The coordinator collaborates closely with procurement, warehouse, and maintenance teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and streamline supply chain processes. By implementing effective inventory control measures, the role helps reduce costs and improve service delivery. Ultimately, the Parts & Inventory Coordinator ensures that all parts and materials are accounted for, properly stored, and readily accessible to meet business demands.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher in supply chain management or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory management, parts coordination, or a related role.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in manufacturing, automotive, or industrial environments.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
  • Certification in inventory management or supply chain (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management.
  • Ability to analyze data to support inventory forecasting and decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software and systems.
  • Coordinate the ordering, receiving, and distribution of parts to various departments in a timely manner.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory audits to verify stock levels and identify discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and resolve any order issues.
  • Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
  • Maintain organized storage areas to ensure parts are easily accessible and properly labeled.
  • Generate reports on inventory status, usage trends, and procurement activities for management review.
  • Support the implementation of inventory control policies and continuous improvement initiatives.
